Everything was clean, comfortable, and the staff was exceptional! We had another issue with booking not talking to the hotel, so I most likely won’t use booking.com for IHG hotels anymore and the staff told me that booking isn’t preferred for them - but unlike my experience in Toledo, the staff did everything they could to make it right! They gave me my room for the correct dates and rate as listed on my booking confirmation even though they had to change things on their end. They went the extra mile and we’re super nice even when I was tires and grouchy about it all

I wish there were more gluten free options but I want to personally thank Dana and Tara at the hotel in Charlestown WV. They surprised my boyfriend with balloons, scratch off tickets, snacks, and a card for his birthday and Dana upgraded our room. I want them to receive recognition please. The staff went above and beyond with my request to have something at the desk that said happy birthday.

Woke up too late for breakfast this time, but the breakfast at our last stay was phenomenal! Staff was very friendly and helpful despite the booking being for the wrong room type (which was fixed right away). There was a small stain on one of the sheets, but it was barely noticeable. Overall great stay, will certainly be back next time my boyfriend and I need another break from the parents!

The breakfast provided included everything needed end our stay. Everything was delicious and the ladies that hosted the breakfast were kind, attentive and helpful. They went out of their way to provide a bountiful breakfast. Breakfast hours were long enough to allow a leisurely breakfast. Definitely our choice of places to stay while in Charles Town/Harpers Ferry area.

The accommodations were good but the mattress could have been better. But we had a very relaxing time and the staff was exceptionally helpful as we are seniors with disabilities. We used the shuttle instead of driving and that was great as we're the drivers who were extremely helpful as well. We will stay again in the future. Oh and we enjoyed the free breakfast also!
